Kovatera KM200e – Electric Underground Utility Vehicle
The Kovatera KM200e is a fully electric, purpose-built underground utility vehicle designed to deliver zero-emission performance in demanding mining and tunneling environments. Engineered from the ground up for underground use, it combines power, safety, and sustainability in a compact, highly maneuverable form.
Powered by a Dana MD HV2200-6P electric motor (up to 255 kW peak) and 77 kWh battery pack, the KM200e achieves up to 60 km range on level ground. Its modular design, payload capacity of 2,500 kg, and tight 3.3 m turning radius make it ideal for personnel, materials, or maintenance applications in confined spaces.
Key safety systems include ROPS/FOPS-certified cabin, SAHR wet-disc brakes, advanced battery management, and telemetry-ready monitoring for performance diagnostics. Charging is quick and flexible, reaching full capacity in approximately 84 minutes with a 50 kW charger.
